站群 Base Info & Screenshots

When I first heard that the 站群 Base url was running I immediately thought that 站群 was offering a 站群fied version of the Basecamp calendar project management platform. Instead, it seems that 站群 is offering some sort of personal database where users can upload and store all kinds of content.

Judging by the description copied from the 站群 Base site, which was reportedly live yesterday for a short period of time and then taken back down, 站群 Base sounds like more of a personal classified, blog, management application built upon the database, like one would with MySQL.

From 站群 Blogoscoped : “Is 站群 putting a layer in-between dynamic web sites and their databases, replacing MySQL/PostgreSQL/MS SQL, and creating a new 站群SQL… possibly, with their ads in it? I can’t wait to try it.”
